PONDEROSA PINES BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

April 22, 2012

 

The meeting was convened at7:00 p.m.at the home of Bob and Patti Pierce.

Board members present: Patti Pierce, Stan Coker, Carol House, Carol Long, Connie Snow, Wahab Baouchi

Not present: Julie Robbins, Tony Smith, Doug Chesnut

Due to health reasons, Bob Pierce could not attend the meeting and will no longer be able to serve as pro-bono legal counsel.

 

Call to Order:

The reading of the minutes was waived and the present members reviewed the state of membership of the Board. Wahab Baouchi is acting President until his term expires since Barbara Wilson is no longer residing inColorado. Carol Long has formally accepted during this meeting to serve as Vice-President. Bob and Patti Pierce will soon move to an assisted living home thus will not be able to serve any longer. Patti will present all the treasury reports and files to Stan Coker who will serve in this capacity of Treasurer.

Connie Snow volunteered to be a member and on call to assist the Board regarding any other issues. Carol House graciously accepted to continue helping the Board members with secretarial tasks and we thank her for putting the last flier out for distribution.

 

Treasurer’s Report:

Patti reviewed the bank account with a balance of $778.85.The only expense incurred this past year is the cost of hamburger meat for the annual picnic that was held last summer. $75.00 was paid back to Tony Smith for providing the meat.

The new owners are paying their one-in-a-lifetime HOA ($25.00) dues to the realtor during closing then forwarded to the HOA treasury.

 

Unfinished Business:

The members of the Board will keep an eye on new movers and remind the realtors of the HOA fees. Wahab received a phone call from a realtor for a potential sale of a house in Ponderosa Pines and explained briefly the HOA bylaws.

There are four homes going for sale in the Ponderosa Pines including Bob and Patti Pierce’s.

Paul Mako in coordination with Carol House will continue supporting Ponderosa Pines’ website.

 

New Business:

The date for our next Ponderosa Pines picnic is scheduled forSunday, August 26, 2012.

A general body HOA meeting is scheduled forSunday, September 23, 2012at1:00 p.m.at the Louisville Library meeting room. During this meeting the election of the Board for a new term will be held.
